put this in Google AI: "Wednesday Morning"
and it outputs:

Wednesday morning means the morning that comes in Wednesday. However TODAY is Sunday so Wednesday is still four days ahead.

AI is just a tool for dumbing people down, and it's working really well.

Once you understand how current text generation AI works, you will never ever trust it for anything outside writing fetish porn.

Basically it looks at the text, including your question and whatever else the AI already wrote, and tries to guess what should be the next word. So if it already generated "However today is", the next word may be "Wednesday" at 20% probability, "Saturday" at 16%, "Friday" at 10%, and so on.

But it doesn't always just pick the top choice, because that would lead to boring and predictable output and repetition. No, there are additional obscure algorithms that gives it a chance to pick the second best or third best option to spice things up, and so on. This is good when generating prose, but it will force the AI to ignore the best answer and pick something else when trying to give a factual answer.
