The Left Wing worldview comes from Christianity as a whole and more specifically Quakerism and Calvinism. It was stripped off its religious doctrine, but still holds the same assumptions and goals. Christians believe in universal equality, hold the oppressed as morally righteous, and dream of a Utopia. The left believes in exactly the same thing, universal equality, the oppressed being morally righteous, and they dream of a Utopia on Earth rather than in Heaven.
Rabbi Yeshua, more commonly known as Jesus of Nazareth, was himself an extreme radical in his day, deconstructing traditional Jewish religious and social norms, as well posing a problem to the Romans for his rabble rousing of the oppressed, which eventually got him killed by the authorities for being a subversive element.
