Why's this website and it's userbase so fucked in the head?

I'm not asking this as a newfag, I'm asking this as someone who has been here for over a decade, partook in the culture and usual shitpost flinging and shitting on others, but every since I became properly Christian, there's something that just changed about my entire feeling of this place. I barely ever post here like once or twice a month instead of daily, if something comes up like a new game release and that's about it, and every time I open it up, there's just something stirring in me that makes me feel disgusted and unfitting to be on here anymore. I started noticing the huge amount of conversations where people do nothing but just insult and curse at each other with no point for anything more and more and it all just feels so absolutely vile and disgusting, I just can't explain it but it feels like whenever I open this thing up again, I'm entering Sodom and Gomorrah, and anytime I don't conform to the usual shitposty personality that's been made up around this place, I just immediately get pointed at and shat on an either immediately called underaged or a newfag or whatever other type of slur possible depending on the context of my post.

This whole thing was something I had awareness of before this as well, but generally just ignored or tried not to pay much attention to it, but now it's just this feeling of filth that I keep getting myself in whenever I come visit again, which I shouldn't be in anymore or engage with.

Christ is king. I pray all of /pol/ will see the light of Christ, who died for all of our sins, even us anons.

As for the attitude change, I think what you're seeing isn't new to 4chan but culture as a whole. Everyone is growing violent. We're having more and more political violence every year, war is spreading, more and more people despise the status quo. 4chan is merely reflecting that, they're not immune to those cultural changes. We're all slowly losing our minds because the West doesn't know how to define itself anymore, flip flopping between an extreme self-loathing self-destructive death cult and a fanatic reactionary movement as a desperate attempt to cling some sense of order in an increasingly chaotic and volatile world. We have killed God and civilization is desperately conflicted between becoming God ourselves or just destroying ourselves so we don't have to deal with our morbid reality.

Yet in spite of all this, humanity has endured these kinds of events before. As the shadows grow longer the light grows brighter. Maybe once this wave passes something new and beautiful can be created.

Demons despise the name of Christ, and will do anything not only to mock Him, but also convince you to abandon Him.

The West's abandonment of Christ is correlated with the rise of degeneracy, especially by those who hate Him.

Never lose faith in Him, and be strong. Demons may mock or attack you, but Christ is stronger than them, where they will be cast in the Lake of Fire when they die.

We all sin, which is why Christ was sent here to begin with. Do your best to get those to repent if they haven't yet.
