>>507892158 (OP)Post-modernism was the ideology film has ran on since the late 70s it was the idea that an object could colonize the subject. For instance Arnold is a steroid abusing fiend with exaggerated muscles who is more man than normal men, he's a hyperreal structure where he supplants the image of the average male body structure. Same thing with horror movies the monster is more horrible than anything that exists in reality. Post modernism failed and everything went meta. Now we saw the rise of the ARG like Blair Witch, Cloverfield, Slenderman, Pizzagate, social media. Media wasn't a colonizing concept anymore, it was a cybernetic one that functions off augmenting reality rather than supplanting it. Look at the monsters in the Mandela Catalogue. They're always distorted, just out of sight, always looking uncanny rather than hyperreal. Now media has become part of social architecture rather than a hypnotic idol, it's moved from its primitive idolatrous form into a mystery cult. Post-modernism always has a religious undertone to it, but mystery cults are all about puzzles and initiation, you must engage with it to be part of it.
I think media is evolving into a construct of freemasonic social architecture.
