It was just a revival of traditional paganism and pagan culture, where you are rooted in your motherland, your ancestors, your race, their heritage, traditions and way of life, and nature as a whole; and whose ideals are represented and personified through various deities. They have basically replicated Weimar conditions but on a global scale, so it makes sense why the establishment is so paranoid about people turning to the "far right".
