Brazil, the country with the most catholics in the entire world, is rapidly becoming evangelical. The protestants went from a small minority to nearly 30% of the population in just a few decades, they have the vast majority of tv channels, control politics to the point where they can elect presidents, and have massive evangelical temples that you can see nowhere in the global south.
