Weird thing is, most veterans never even see combat. Most of the PTSD is from being a literal cog in the machine. I've seen sleep deprived soldiers standing guard of a fucking room because some rule in subsection 14 of code 42 A of their pamphlet says rooms facing easy must be guarded 24/7, and no one knows which way is east, and no one wants to take the blame for failing to adhere to policy, so they grab some kind to stand there for hours on end. Imagine wasting years of your life to do this, them get kicked out with no education, training, or skills. I mean, even a fucking pizza maker at dominoes is expected to have more ingenuity than that.

i had a veteran on my security team who "had" to take a week off because he saw some crackhead stab another crackhead in the neck and die. kept telling my manager how "thats all he can see anymore" and how scared he was to go out on the beat. we laughed at how much of a faggot he was being. we had girls watch the same thing and were perfectly fine.
