>>507931800 (OP)Arguably, in the realm of politics and faith alike, it is possible to experience a redemption arc. Christian theology and the Star Wars Force "theology" isn't the same. For one thing, the Force isn't really a personable god or gods of personality. It is seen as a divine energy source of sorts. The Star Wars perspective of the afterlife is also quite grim. Almost anybody other than the extremely few Jedi who keep their consciousness, something only fully discovered by the generation of Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and only partially utilized by Qui-Gon Jinn, cease to exist. Prior to that discovery by Jinn, every single Jedi, including non-Force sensitive people and Sith alike, perished into non-existence. All of those heroic rebels and such had nowhere to go. They just died and their spirits went into the Force as a whole, without them having any consciousness. The Imperials were dealt with the same fate. Arguably, some Sith may end up becoming ghosts or zombies, which may or may not be what Palpatine was by the time of the sequel trilogy movies, but who knows what Disney was going for? However, Jesus Christ is very real, unlike Star Wars' Force system, and he is the saviour of humanity. We must repent of our wrongdoings and follow Jesus for salvation. No politician or Star Wars Force entity is going to save us. There is no political solution to salvation, nor one spawned by the likes of George Lucas, or Buddhism or other religions. Only Christ the Lord is the source of salvation and eternal life.
