Maybe. It depends on how this plays out, but that would be an ideal situation for the US and the Iranian people. The geography has a lot going for it, and with the right governance and investment, it could be a booming economy. If the fundamentalists never took over I wonder what it would look like today. I imagine it would probably be the Germany of the Middle East. With cheap energy, the 2nd sector potential is amazing.
