>>507933005 (OP)The debates are comprimised of questions that require hour long answers but only have time for 1 minute voice clips. While Ron Paul had detailed, logical answers, none of that mattered because everyone's attention span could only last for a 30 second clip on whatever news program they happened to watch.
Ron Paul wasn't the first one of his kind, there are people like Ross Perot who also had answers that he could explain to the American public, but they shut him out of the debates. He then used his wealth to buy his own air-time, not too dissimilar to Trump using Twitter and Facebook in 2016, to circumvent the political machine.
The best thing about Donald Trump was that he was a media guy and understood how people consumed the news. Long complicated answers to long complicated questions would never get you anywhere with the American public. You need to have quick snippets that entertained the masses.
There will be "Oldfags" that try to insult you for being a zoomer, but trust me when I tell you that nothing has changed. Tiktok hasn't done anything new, people have always had shitty attention spans, they just stopped shoving Ritalin down your throat these days.
