Maybe but it's total science fiction at the moment. It might work if you have a lot of advanced warning and can launch 1000s of drones to blanket an area. The problem with this sort of "defense" would be the fact that a missile would still hit the target but in pieces. Would cause damage but maybe not destroy it.
