It's always balance between programs and taxes. Yes the programs can work and can be funded. But the public has to be willing to pay for them. I think socialism can work, and even be a great thing, but it only works in homogenous White countries. Welfare systems work when the population doesn't exploit them and the politicians don't use it to buy votes. what's your problem with me being on the receiving side of this arrangement? just because I'm white doesn't mean I'm not broke, asshole. Also, we already have the mixed economy that the nordic countries have, the only difference is that we give all of that welfare to people that don't contribute, and anyone that's been contributing their entire life that needs a leg up gets left out in the cold to live under a bridge. I've applied for benefits one time and learned that the gravy train isn't available to people that look like me. for example, america already has free healthcare. it's called medicaid. health insurance is only for people who make too much money to qualify for medicaid.

but here's the problem: most of what health insurance pays for is a scam. most medical intervention doesn't actually help anyone except the doctor. so many people want to opt out of that corrupt system by not contributing to it. that's what many people do, which is why CONMEN want to force everyone to be part of that system with mandatory health insurance.
