God speaking to Abraham
"I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you"

Abraham had two primary sons:
Isaac, through whom the covenant promises and blessings were specifically established (Genesis 17:19; Romans 9:7-8).
Abraham -> Isaac -> Jacob (Israel) -> twelve tribes = the nation of Israel.
Ishmael, Abraham’s son through Hagar, the ancestor of many Arab peoples (Genesis 16; 17:20).

The specific covenant promises about the land and being heirs of God’s promises were given to Isaac and his descendants (Genesis 17:19-21).
But God also blessed Ishmael and promised that he would become a great nation (Genesis 17:20; 21:13).

All this before Christ. Yes, God promised an everlasting covenant, but the covenant could still be broken from the Jewish side, which it was, they rejected Jesus, and were broken off. Hence the lines:

Now most of you know how the story ended, with Jesus dying on the cross. Although there's evidence that this might not have been the case, most of those tales end with him abandoning his disciples and heading east with some claiming he even has a grave site in Tibet.

So what happened to the disciples after Jesus's death? Well they were eventually captured and imprisoned by the Romans and Jewish Leadership. Fearing that executing them would only strengthen the massive rebellion that had started after Jesus's death. Soon after the creation of the first Church, the disciples decided how they would spread out, and went out around the world to spread the word. Each of them had some amazing journeys you can learn about, although a lot of that knowledge was lost during the war against the Christians. Even Mary Magdeline went on to start the gnostic sect of the Cathars in France, that is still heavily discussed today.

Roman Catholics have their own talmud called the catechism AKA "sacred tradition" where they lawyered Christianity to justify copypasting Bible names over pagan religious figures and practices. Basically what happened is that after Emperor Constantine made Christianity the state religion and outlawed paganism, the Roman cult around the virgin hearth goddess Vesta got changed into a cult of reverence for the Virgin Mary (they even wrote fanfics about how Mary was born without sin, remained a lifelong virgin, never died, etc. to reinforce the cult despite being contrary to what the actual Bible says). So despite being identical to pagan ancestor worship in appearance and practice, it's actually just the same as asking your living friend or family member to pray for you, according to Catholics. Now why bother doing this when it clearly contradicts what Christ Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:6 and what the Apostle Paul taught in 1 Timothy 2:5? The Catholic answer is that in Job 42:7-10, God told Job's wicked friends to make a sacrifice and ask Job to pray for them on their behalf, because Job was a righteous man. So from this short section of an Old Testament story, they extrapolate to justify the practice of "venerating" saints such as the Virgin Mary by saying they're actually asking the saint in heaven to pray to God on their behalf.

Christian here. There is a clearly heretical zionist cult that has risen up mostly in American Christianity, since about the mid-1800's.
