Nah there's a structural solution to this. They should bring back factory towns and service employees. If they provided housing and food to employees then you can keep these logistics services going indefinitely. The question is: how much of a luxury are services like Fedex or Amazon? Will they truly replace retail? If so they need to upscale. There might be a better way to distribute goods, but from what I can tell people use these services mostly for luxury items. I honestly think warehouse stores like Costco or BJs are more efficient still, I'm not opposed to the idea of services like Amazon, but it just seems retarded to have to ship around every single item cross country most of their business is stocking retail stores anyway. I think you can score it down to luxury items only and see far less volume, thus making the model more managable because as of right now it only exists to 'create jobs'.
