They have problem with launchers it seems though so atm cant launch massive number at once and spend day to prepare/launch 20-30 ballistic missiles per day. Drones do launch in big numbers though.

That's essentially what they do, except perhaps for their most advanced missiles.
They buy data acquisition systems, telemetry systems and software from the US and China and basically assemble them, only the design of the missile is iranian. Those missiles are not perfect but they are cheap and sufficiently efficient.
