This. I can't stand how the concern about "screens" only became a thing with the internet. TV is far more psychologically destructive than the internet because it's non-interactive. It trains you to be a passive consumer rather than an active participant.

Every generation is obsessed with something but at least with phones you can get different points of view plus people discussing issues. When it came to newspapers for the WW2 generation and TV for Boomers they are getting one point of view masquerading around as the truth and anyone that says otherwise is a liar plus no real back and forth discussion at all.
