>Proofs?
There are many cases like that since the '90s when violent games was the hot thing among edgy teenagers. Especially FPS games.

Also daily reminder that the American army is using FPS games as murder simulators. And they generally use FPS genre to normalize joining the (((American))) army and sacrificing yourself for the (((world peace))).

That is a funny one because the popular consensus even among chuds is that video games don't cause violence. Even Feminist Frequency said video games don't make people misogynistic. But then the right believes all that at once, but then somehow believes that seeing gays in media is "grooming" and turns kids gay. It's not logically consistent.

I don’t know about if they inspire shooters but violent movies and games do desensitize. Of course the proofs are meager because it is a billion dollar industry.

Do violent movies turn kids into murderers too?
There is an entire Wikipedia article just dedicated to copycat crimes of "Natural Born Killers", you know

Violent crime has been on the decline as the sales of violent video games go up. There's multiple factors, but it's all the same like how shows involving hospitals may inspire someone to be a doctor. It's hard to define the impacts, it doesn't need to be suppressed.

That’s because more people stay at home and browse the internet than 20 years ago. I remember when you got called a nerd and loser for playing games on your PC instead of going outside. Now normies scroll the internet more than I do.
