I just found found out he was pretty secular, not a rabid islamist like I expected
>>508000185 (OP)He did nothing wrong. Even the "Kurdish Genocide" was just Saddam putting down another rebellion before it could snowball out of control and become another radical movement like ISIS. Just look at how fucked Iraq has become without him.
>>508000389He was a Hero, who was demonised by the Jewish press.
So sad many such cases.
>>508000185 (OP)His uncle or someone close wrote a pamphlet entitled "Persians, Jews and Flies: God's Three Mistakes"
He launched scud missiles at Israel
He was nominally Sunni Muslim, but in his politics he was a secular Arab nationalist and Ba'athist socialist. He only played on religious identity, when he wanted to rally his subjects against Iran and, later, the US. Ironically, though, the majoirty of Iraqi Muslims are Shi'ite Muslims, like Iran. He was never anything near fundamentalist, or extremist, and strongly opposed Al Qa’ida and their ilk. The purported "connection" between him and Bin Laden, was pure US propaganda lies on behalf of the Bush administration.
>>508000607>DissidentsI think you misspelled "kike funded extremist kike attack dogs" i.e musshit islamists
>>508000389He did a lot of wrong things. And don't get me started on his demon son Uday
>>508000185 (OP)Comically evil, google "Ba'ath purge"
Yep this separate the private individuals from where is the bathroom people
>>508001019He purged his own party ffs, he wasn't a saint. And dissidents weren't all muslims
>>508000185 (OP)he was an ally of the usa and europe against iran in the 80's, he was never an etremist but sure was a brutal criminal , this is why his own people betrayed him when the israelis puppets (usa) ivaded iraq . they were done with his and his own sons shit.
>>508001540what do iraqis think of him now?
>>508000185 (OP)All we ever got decades ago was contrived western propaganda, disseminated through legacy media msm news. We believed it all hook line and sinker...that's now changed
>>508000607Look at what those "dissidents" are doing to Iraq and the rest of the region now. He kept a lid on violent Islamic extremism and was punished for it regardless.
>>508001063Most of the propaganda surrounding Uday is probably just that but even if it was all true, having a psychopath for a son doesn't automatically disqualify you as a leader. Saddam was still better for Iraq than his predecessors / anyone that's followed after.
>>508001294Of course they weren't, abdul
>>508001884they don't regret him that much tho, he was really brutal, but his sons were literally crazy insane, he was more neo fachist than religious.
>>508000185 (OP)this nigga looks nothing like this <, you kikes lied to me once again
