It can be done, settings at 1/4000 and up with a very luminous lens which they are often with dumbass gearfags. Also pray n spray techniques are common for photojournalists in big shot events so the context was there, especially when the bullets were already in their final trajectories before dipping so they were slow too IF they were normal 556.

A slower bullet travelling on broad daylight could be absolutely shown on photos with a f/2.8 wide open and a shutter of 1/800 to 1/2000 while spraying 20 or 30 pics every second, which is completely normal for a fag with pro gear taking pictures at a former president campaigning.
