No they are not OK. Large numbers of them take the bible literally, like as literally as a car service manual. Americans are desperate for a heroic meta-narrative that gives their lives more meaning than the real world alternatives of being a morally vacant country that lucked into being a superpower because of geography and low indigenous population (the leftish view) or submissive wagecuck consoomers (the rightish view). The more literally they believe in the bible, the more pathetic and primitive their relgious worship rituals. At least the catholics have strictly defined ritual designed to keep the plebs from getting too carried away and thinking the holy spirit has them on speed dial, whereas the evangelicals think satan might be hiding in their sock drawer and in my experience are full time schizo adjacent.

If anything, this whole nonsense only proves that americans genuinely can't read nor think critically. American protestants read something out of context and then apply it to themselves, when in reality it most likely applies to an old testament jew or a tribulation jew

Christians never used to teach this until like a 100 years ago. Its basically the idea that you will be saved by Christ without having to go through a tribulation period. The way it used to be taught was that there had to be a series of specific signs and those signs came after everyone gets totally fucked up by all the earthquakes and pestilence. if you are near a thrift or second hand bookstore look out for 'left behind' by Tim LaHaye which is basically evangelical fear porn about what happens if you don't qualify for the rapture, there's a whole bunch of these books and they were runaway bestsellers for most of the 1990s. Spend $1 and read half of it before throwing it in the trash and you'll have a good insight into the evangelical worldview

So basically the Protestant/Jew axis exists to undermine the authority of Catholicism(historically antisemitic). The Jews give Protestants a wealth of alternative history and scholarship to build their new faith around so that they don’t have to defer to these “corrupted” Catholic sources. They create this schizophrenic bifurcated dispensationalist religion where Jews have one bible(the Old Testament) and Christians have another (the New Testament) and both groups exist to fulfil different and unrelated purposes for some grant cosmic vision where the Jewish State of Israel must exist and rebuild the temple to fulfill prophecy.
