No they are not OK. Large numbers of them take the bible literally, like as literally as a car service manual. Americans are desperate for a heroic meta-narrative that gives their lives more meaning than the real world alternatives of being a morally vacant country that lucked into being a superpower because of geography and low indigenous population (the leftish view) or submissive wagecuck consoomers (the rightish view). The more literally they believe in the bible, the more pathetic and primitive their relgious worship rituals. They create this schizophrenic bifurcated dispensationalist religion where Jews have one bible(the Old Testament) and Christians have another (the New Testament) and both groups exist to fulfil different and unrelated purposes for some grant cosmic vision where the Jewish State of Israel must exist and rebuild the temple to fulfill prophecy.
