i knew an ee back in the early 00's. his degree was pretty much useless even back then. every job he had didn't have anything to do with what he studied in college. i was doing qc/qa for a defense contractor at the time and he was my manager. maybe look for something like that.

Of course there is, but the job market is flooded with resumes from pajeets so HR can't find the quality people.

My big company has had multiple engineer positions open for months and can't find any good people. HR gets hundreds of resumes for each position and they're bad at filtering out the jeets.

If the stupid HR bitches just binned any name that sounded Indian we could find qualified people in the remainder, but they won't do that because racism or some woke shit.

They hire any babyface from any university with a BSe. Sometimes they even hire random people in-house (i.e. assembly line grunts that are competent) because they're so desperate for new blood. Although you won't find these jobs on Indeed or any of that shit, you basically have to just look up small cities and ask random circuit board manufacturers. Extremely easy to get a job, since the new kids always quit after a year or two for a better paying job. EE is basically still riding the free lunch wave that CE/CS has dropped off of recently, EE just isn't popular.

I'm a NEET living with my mother, whose health isn't very good. Dad is gone, sister doesn't talk to me, don't hear from anyone else.

My solution? Leave. I'm moving to a seaside town and aim to get a job within walking distance. This will probably happen within the next three months or so.

If the world is going to end, I would rather spend it at a beach here in NZ
