Ir's funny how he leans the bike without turning. Pro-tip, leaning by itself doesn't turn the bike.I really don't get what they rider though he was doing... seems he really wasn't looking where he was going. Also, I almost go cleaned up last night.

I was riding in the dark on a multilane freeway and I changed lanes from behind a truck into a lane with no traffic. So I was gradually overtaking the truck, riding along side it, then a car that was in front and on the other side of me in relation to the truck of me started changing in my lane (so he would be in the lane beside the truck), and he did this without indicating. I watched him come in, first it was gradual, but, by the time I was alongside him (so, I was between the truck and the car at this point) he was almost fully in my lane. Luckily highway lanes are wide and I was right over next to the truck because I saw the car coming, and I had enough time to accelerate in the last moments and get ahead of the car, but it was pretty close, I almost got squished.

yeah, limit the number of occupants to two at most
that'll surely reduce the amount of vehicles on the road

Build trams for intracity travel and trains for intercity travel. That way you're going to get reluctant drivers to fuck off from the road

Based! This would solve multiple problems. Reduce congestion.,Save money on gas. Less dependency on foreign oil. Reduce emissions. But best of all, it would eliminate 2/3 of American drivers, the stupid ones, as they drive aggressively tailgating and ignoring speed laws as they do now, but will realize their mistake as they’re flung from the bike at 75mph.And those assholes that drive too slow on two lane roads but don’t pull over or let others pass, well, others will just go around them now, no fuss no muss. 85% of motorcyclist will be in an accident, while 85% of motorcycle accidents at highway speeds result in death, dismemberment, or very serious injury - I’m in!

Cheyna et al has already effected this in part with so many people riding round on little 50cc bikes.

The ultimate in silence and efficiency would be solar covered paths with electric bikes and electric scooters.

I unironically drive pic related for most little trips. If I need to carry something large, more people, or drive over 70kmh, I'll just take a car.

Parts are dirt fucking cheap. Gets 100 mpg.

Carbureted, no electronics, will survive EMP. The perfect ride for when SHTF. Luggage rack to carry snacks and your freshly kidnapped slavic breeding waifu.

You have to lean before turning. Turning is in response to a lean. It's like balancing a broomstick on your palm, you can lean the broomstick over, and it might fall unless you move your palm (turning) back under it's center of gravity. That's why moto racing simulators always suck, because it's hard to input both leaning and turning, the two important axes of motion on a motorcycle.

Well, I'd say it like this. You can lean and not turn. You can also turn without lean. But turning requires moving centre of mass to one side or the other, so if you turn without leaning you need to move your body off the bike to shift the centre of mass, and of course, if you want to turn tightly at high speed you need to shift the centre of mass as much as possible, so you need to lean. But the guy in the video isn't doing it properly, he seems to lean the bike under his body, but his body is leaning in the other direction so the centre of mass isn't shifted much, and what's more, he has his left hand off the handlebars until the last second and never appears to apply input to the handlebars. Normal steering is to counter steer and push forward on the left to turn to the left. He could also have pulled the right side of the handlebars towards himself to create the counter steer but he doesn't do this. Seems like a complete noob, deserving of his being consumed by a giant fireball.
