anyway, i think we can manage without the US. thing is, its just too easy with them. and it seems that despite their internal struggles, they still have a consensus about us, not to mention that a large part of the dependency that has been created is as a result of the dynamics with them,
they prefer us to be like this so they can control us, they don't want us to produce too many weapons ourselves, they don't want us to have an independent arms industry, and they want full technological collaboration, which is good and bad, as it currently appears, there is too much harmony between the two countries and creating an isolation between them could be very problematic for both, so i don't think any administration in the US will be able to do that, at least not in one term not even 2
