I like the ruggedness of RWD on an independent frame. It's got enough clearance to go where most cars or SUVs cannot. I can haul firewood with it. Picrel is a 1980 E-150 I used to tour around in. It would've been over 20 years old at the time, and ran like a top. Yeah, newer trucks with their oversized cabs and gizmos are sure nice if you can afford to keep them up, but I'm not really a truck guy... just a guy who happens to like and appreciate my basic truck.
