This is the argument I’ve been making for years. It’s stupid to support the empire. The wealth extracted from the empire does not go to normal people. It goes to institutions and oligarchs and politicians who use that wealth to extract what little assets are left in the hands of regular people. And then they inflate the currency so the money they spent becomes worthless. It’s vampiric. It’s also obvious that there is no internal mechanism of change. We tried peaceful regime change with trump and look where that got us. Years of preventing his agenda and when that failed they co-opted him into Zion Don. And the non peaceful way won’t work either. Nobody is going to rise up and if they did the torture that saddam used on dissidents would seem trite in comparison.
So the only way the regime will change is defeat by a foreign power. Whether military, economically, or politically. The only way to dislodge the imperial regime is by external influences.
