Almost all BLM land allows powersports, target shooting, dispersed camping wherever you want, etc., all of those things are much more restricted on USFS soil. All BLM land is open for public use, with a few exceptions where it is being leased (usually mining operations). It is fun developed and often has motor vehicle restrictions.
They make for great hunting and camping areas because it is too much work for a non-White to make use of.
