You get bad teeth from a diet based mainly on cereals with very little sunlight. Humans need 44,000 years to adapt to their current diet. Our teeth and organs are still designed to chew raw, fibrous plant matter. The fewer raw fibrous plant parts you eat, the worse your teeth and intestines are. Vitamin K is mainly obtained from green leafy vegetables. It is metabolized to vitamin D by the thyroid gland via sunlight. That's why vitamin D is not actually a vitamin, but a pro-hormone. If something fucks up your thyroid gland, for example the increased radiation after the nuclear reactor accident in Fkushima, you can no longer produce enough vitamin D, your skin gets lichen, your hair falls out, your teeth rot, your bones become thin like the bones of a canary. If you have the opportunity, you should eat raw fibrous plant food instead of taking pills.
