Hello, fren? Sprinkle diatomaceous earth along the edges of walls and in any nooks and crannies they might hide. Diatomaceous earth is a natural substance (safe for pets and even to eat) that kills insects. It coats them when they step in it and they slowly bleed to death. This is the only thing I ever used that permanently ended an infestation. You can get a huge bag that will cover a whole house for like $15 dollars. It takes a while but it works.

I used something similar to kill an invasive ant colony that kept coming in through the cracks. But I mixed borax with water, soaked some cotton balls in it and then put the wet cotton balls in containers outside (with no holes big enough for pets to eat the contents). This works best in summer since they need water and will drink the sugary poison water when it gets hot.

I've had to do exactly that. Make sure you mix it with a decent amount of sugar though (like 1 part borax, 5 parts sugar). Liquify the solution with water. The ants will collect the mixture and take it directly to their queen and it'll die along with the others in the colony.

I remember my battle with one. I saw it squeezing through the window at night, and I was surprised it could do that and with my lights on as well. I grabbed an old flip flop, thinking it was going to be easy, but once it started flying towards me, I panicked and ended up losing it. It took me two hours to find it, but I needed to start spraying and using a flash light at that point, since they like to hide. Disgusting creatures and South Florida is filled with them. Fuck these jews.

I live in the woods and get native wood roaches all the time, doesn't matter if the house is clean.

They aren't the type that really infest (breed indoors) but they have done it a couple times. Usually during spring. I just put roach poison traps down all around the house, reduces their numbers very drastically. I have no idea how well they work against the bad infesting species though.
