I have never been to Iran but have spent months at a time in Malaysia and Indonesia (muslim countries).
The muslim countries were the best places I've ever visited, by far, out of 30+ countries at this point.
And why I tell this to my friends here in the west, I am met with either complete disbelief or even restrained hostility. It's fucking bizarre.
