Yeah, I went to school for journalism and wrote for magazines and blogs for a while (nothing political, I wanted to write about cars and auto racing and that's what I did until the magazine industry went to shit) and one of the first things you learn is that you have to write on a 6th grade level because that's all the majority of people can comprehend.
