I don't really like any kind of organized religion. The old saying about power corrupting comes to mind. The ugly truth is that it's not an issue of God or Jesus, but like a lot of religious groups it's a social club with hierarchy. If you aren't born and raised into your local parish, went to Catholic school they had there if they have one, and donated thousands of dollars to them, you're an outsider. Recently went to a friend's church, and the archbishop said something akin to "We can fault the shepherd, but can't fault the message" which in context he meant that even if the priests fail, the Catholic Church is still true. My question to that is, if the church is in essence it's leadership and bureaucracy, aren't you just making an excuse for your failures is an organization? The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo (Miaphysis or Non-Chalcedonian) Bible is the most complete in the world. Other churches would do right to adopt it, but of course they won't.
