hasn't this shit been around for like 50 years and any country with two brain cells would design a facility to defend against it? the fact that trump already hasn't done fuck all and the media is covering it is a dead giveaway that it's not an option. all this messaging was just designed to scare iran. we would have done it already if it was possible. fucking bunker blunder and iran knows it.

All this talk of bunker busting is a red herring. The real play will be naval warfare, destroying coastal defenses and making Iran use up their missiles. Then the Strait of Hormuz can be captured and the war is war.

Israeli's don't even have bombers and are just running sorties with f35s and are not dropping bunker busters on the tunnels.
Iran military is just hiding in the tunnels while surface infrastructure is getting wrecked.
They don't fucking care though.
It didn't phase Yemen and we left.
Israel can't leave.

Yeah, they did. The maximum depth of even the most powerful bunker busters is like MAYBE 80m in optimal conditions, usually far closer to 60m. All of Iran's important facilities are between 500 and 800 meters. You could drop bunker busters on them all day and they'd barely even notice.

You don't have to penetrate the deepest levels you just have to cave in and destroy the entry points, air shafts, and utility connections.

Drop some GBU-57s at the main entry points while Israel takes out the air handlers and utilities.

People inside will have weeks of air and supplies at most. Iran will send excavators and crews to try to gain access and get some air circulation going, so it will take ongoing strikes to keep blowing up the rescue crews with thermoberic weapons.
