not really. i think when given the opportunity for a better life, like a solid mid middle class or even slightly above mid, then half the people given the opportunity will fight the other half. it's not expensive to buy half the population as naturally someone has to fill that demographic anyway. it's not that simple to overthrow the system because the system is more than the church/parlament/[insert whatever else here]. It is a union and that is the reason why after any regime change, things stay mostly the same, though some things obviously get better over time like quality of life.
