The coasts? Public property? NOPE. All the coastlines are owned by the Crown, theoretically you can get fined if you pick up an interesting rock and take it home from the beach.
Find some archeological treasure on your property and want to sell it privately? TOO BAD, you have to send it to the British Museum who already own it, and they will give you what they think is "fair market value" for it.
So no, you absolutely should not sell your country off to private individuals and investment firms, as they will strip it dry and extract all the value they can from it with zero thought for preserving anything for future generations.
