Bede the Venerable mentions not only Jutes, Saxons and Angles but also Frisians, Huns (Yes you read right), Rugians (Possibly Slavic), Pre-Viking Danes and Bructerian Franks as among the peoples who populated Britain after the fall of Roman Britain. Which oddly suggests a Oghur Turkic component to English ethnogenesis as well as Slavic, Frankish and Proto-Nordic component. Not completely Ingvaeonic as assumed by modern Scholarship.
