Well China gets their oil from Iran but you need boots on the ground for this and the country is bigger than Afghanistan, the terrain similar or worse, the population big and they have a modern industry not like the Talibs who still live in medieval times. The easiest way would be an insurrection and a military junta but I guess they blew that one with the bombing.
