The only problem with the theory is that the earthquake measured as 5.2. The largest ever recorded caused by a nuclear detonation was 4.9 in the Soviet Union. Anything 5+ was previously thought extremely unlikely. But regardless, the physics of it don’t jive with current scientific consensus.
