I’m pretty sure half of Texas Latinos are white passing.
NEARLY ALL OF THE Latinos in Texas are MEXICAN.
We got two paths we can take.
The path you are advocating:
Everyone with their “own people” forming coalitions with other ethnic groups to establish political supremacy in their respective states.
So in this case you would have Latinos + blacks forming a coalition against white Texans, as the dude in your show stated a couple of days back. it just so happens that these Latinos are ALL MEXICAN…. And in order to keep that coalition together you have to keep reminding these group of Latinos of that fact…that they are not like the other (like white Americans ) that they are Mexican…. You gotta prevent assimilation….
Or the path that I’m advocating.
Assimilation.
The easiest way would be based on race, just like it is the easiest way to divide it is also the easiest way to unite.
Gotta make it socially acceptable for Latinos to see themselves reflected in white America and America over all, gotta encourage mixing of whites and Latinos and gotta make it easier for browner Latinos to see themselves as just as much Americans as black Americans do.
