The B2 was on the drawing board in the mid 1970s and about 10 years later prototypes flying out of Area 51 for test flights, it didn't go into production until 1988? Or early 1990s

for a nucklear bomber, thats passing age, since no one has a newer one. they cost a lot and production/development stopped after cold war. There isnt a more modern one that isnt just prototype or concept.

That's the date it officially entered service, it was introduced to the public the year prior when photographs of the test flights were captured near area 51. You can read about it on the internet, the thing you're using and being wrong on.

That's not the Stratofortress, but anyways. If stuff works then it works and it's like this for every other country as well.

no one keeps anything secret, first since Chinese have direct access to pentagon HDDs , and second since those weapons point is to detering war. No one plans to "appear weak to make enemy nucklear strike them".

It depends what technology. The weapons, avionics, engines, stealth coating, and software are regularly upgraded. The airframes holding all this shit are all about 30 years old.

It is mainly due to the lack of a near-peer rival after the USSR collapsed.
A big part of the reason Desert Storm went so well was that we had huge stockpiles of fresh weapons and men built and trained to fight the Soviets.
