Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan all are in an alliance with Russia. Tajikistan has a Chinese military base. Uzbekistan left its alliance with Russia but have retained economic and security ties with them (Picrel). And Turkmenistan is essentially the North Korea of Central Asia.
