An example of the faux warning is something like Musk saying "careful now, else AI might end up being worshipped as a god!", when he is actually a part of the cult, privy to the plan, and knows full well the plan is to make you worship AI as a god.
There's also the variant where they overstate the case so that when the result is less/more than expected, you will be pleased. For example, they will claim "the lockdown will last for 6 months", and then when the lockdown is only 2 months, you thank them for their gracious act. (You should be hanging them from lampposts for locking you down at all).
