Indians are just like any other immigrant wave that came in the USA in earlier eras. Picrel is the Italian immigrant wave. Nearly 200k Italians every year. Compared to the small population of Italy during that time, that figure is quite high compared to the ratio of Indian immigrants to the West currently each year versus the Indian population.
This wave of Indian immigration will continue until conditions in India get better, the quality of life equalizes. Then the immigration will stop. Currently, the quality of life between Italy and USA is almost the same, so there is very little migration to and from both countries.

This will happen with India too.

Back in 1900s when Italians were mass migrating, people called them all sorts of names, slurs, etc. Same thing is happening with Indians.

And just like that, in 100 yrs, we had a TV show, The Sopranos, about Italians. We will have one about Indians in AD 2100. called the The Patels.
Only difference is that there won't be any Indian mafia (because we are a non-violent crime-free community), it will be about tech startups and Indian software developers' lives.
