What this means anons is that it completed ratification on June 11 and will thus go into effect on July 11. From that point forward, Russia and Iran will be legally obligated to cooperate and counter common threats to each other. This includes sharing information between their intelligence and security agencies.

Of course, it doesn't require they commit trips in each other's defense i.e. a mutual defense clause, but it does require a coordination of their military efforts against those deemed common threats. The United States is supporting Ukraine against Russia and no Israel against Iran.

U.S. would also qualify as a "third state" where they have to cooperate to prevent interference or destabilizing presence of such a state in the Middle East. By intervening or interfering by striking Iran, this article would also be triggered.

Basically, unless all this gets resolved before July 11, Russia will be obligated to cooperate with Iran in confronting, countering, and preventing interference of the United States and Iran will be similarly obligated to do the same for Russia.

Putin lightly hinted at this here:

>“We already have combat operations going on against those who we consider opponents of the ideas we defend and who pose a threat to the Russian Federation,” he said, adding that these opponents are “far behind the frontline” and are “basically the same forces – with Iran and in the case of Russia.”

That statements of them being "basically the same forces" should be taken as a signal of Russia's treaty obligations, which will officially come into effect on July 11. Of course, he can act them before that and may have already, but that would not require direct Russian military involvement. It would be a matter of coordinating actions the level of assistance beyond intelligence-sharing and strategic cooperation is entirely up to them.
