How likely is it that Iran will retaliate by bombing US military bases in the Middle East, /pol/?

Is there really gonna be a retaliation? All the US did was take out the nuke facilities. Nobody died. Maybe the US will allow a tiny smack for the Iranians to keep their status but thats it.

Not a chance.

There was no US strike. This is a psychological warfare operation meant to further destabilize Iran. The Israelis launched several missiles around the site and then left. Trump and Bibi both announced that the US had bombed Iran and that they were successful. The Iranian government played Trump's speech and posted his saber rattling X posts. As of right now, they are showing the site undamaged to the public and Trump's speech and X posts, while simultaneously claiming that they will take revenge for the attack. This will undermine the remaining trust that the citizens of Iran have in their government. This entire event has left everyone dumbfounded. They don't know what to believe, from the average citizen to government officials. Peace negotiations will begin soon, if they haven't already. This war will be over by Wednesday.

I don't think I have to say this but the US has terrorized Iran since they moved assets into the region. Our planes and ships are constantly on maneuvers. The people are so frightened that they evacuated Tehran on his say so.

Wars can be fought without bullets and bombs. Sometimes a simple bluff can terrify people into submission. Terror and confusion plays havoc with the mind. They are contagious as well.
