What happens if Iran completely ignores the US and instead continues to just bomb the shit out of Israel? Trump said he would only intervene if Iran retaliates against US targets. Clearly the intention here is to force a retaliatory strike against the US, which would then give the US the perfect excuse to go all-in. But what if Iran just ignores them completely? It's genius if you think about it. It would force Trump to step in on behalf of Israel yet again, without any strike having actually occurred against US targets.
