I personally don't believe in the whole pronouns thing. I think its unnecessary and ridiculous.

The thing with progressives is that they always like to add nuance (analysis approach), whereas conservatives always like to reduce nuance (common sense approach)
Just saying something is unnecessary and ridiculous is not a real argument, so obviously the rebuttals you will get are going to match the shallowness of your own argument.
