If we're going to have a Greatest Ally, I prefer Japan. Japs are crazy in a way I appreciate.
I also feel much more of a nationalistic duty to look after and support the interests of Japan rather than Israel. The US unleashed the fires of Creation on Japan (twice), subjugated them utterly, and then worked to build them back up. I feel that failing to continue to actively further the interests and position of Japan in the politics of the East is a matter of leaving a job half-done.
