I grew up at the beach. Yeah sharks aren't evil, they're just animals and normally they won't bite a human unless you're on a surfboard or something because then they think you're a fish. They come up and bump you to see what you are and 99% of the time they'll swim away after that but occasionally they will bite. Great Whites are so big that one bite will royally fuck you up, but they'll just finish what they started most of the time.
