It looks like Germany still occupied Europe after WW2.
Not with Panzers, but with refrigerated food.

we used to have Billa, Real and HIT
but they quit
that is, their tax exemption period granted by the government ran out and they sold their business to the next supermarket chain
no stores were actually closed down
they just rebranded
they do this every 5-10 years when the next tax exemption runs out
just kike things

>Lidl
The working man's standard, the RIGHT kind of globalization, give me those italian biscuits nigga.
>Billa
Fuck Billa, shit's overpriced, worst one we have by far. At least their own products tend to be good quality rather than the cheapest thing in the store.
>Metro
I sincerely don't think I ever went there.
>Kaufland
Actually really good, shame that it doesn't really do small stores so you either live close or drive all across the city.
>Tesco
Was bad and got worse. Famously bad hygiene standards.
>Carefour
These niggas pulled out of our country, but from what I gather everyone loved them twenty years ago.
>Aldi, Auchan, Maxima
Never went to these, but from what I gather Aldi is just Lidl 2?

Lidl is the worst supermarket I've ever been to. It's the cheapest disgusting slop in the world, all of it padded with shit like palm oil and saw dust.
They have an entire section of faux American shit. Boxes of slop with American flags of shit that no one actually eats in America.
The entire store seems to be designed by jewish psychologists, like they removed the hand baskets because studies show people shop more if they can carry more so they force you to use the shopping cart.
Everything I've tried from Lidl has been shit and they are really lacking any options, like they only have one energy drink which is the gross gorilla one.
The entire store is designed to squeeze as much money out of you as possible while convincing you that you are getting the best deal.

Well, their quality is mixed, not only bad, but sometimes good.
For example, I would not buy the peanut butter with palm oil, but from time to time they sell 100% natural one.

The stores have better lights than any other chain, I cannot figure it out, but I feel it. Lights are slightly annoying at most other places.
And the simplicity is very nice for some people. You avoid the paralysis of choice if they have what you are looking at and you have confirmed that it is not bad.

Also, there are less shitty people in Bulgarian Lidls for some reason.
I also miss the small baskets.

Stand aside correct opinions only
>lidl
shit selection whose only gimmick is being cheap, but that means fuckall when half your selection is offbrand garbage. soft drinks and sweets especially are atrocious, and because it's visited by poor subhumans, if you want pastry and not get salmonella from gypsy children touching it, you should only get it when it's fresh before 8 am
>billa
overpriced austrian garbage
>kaufland
good selection, some is even quality, but the sortiment that is in lower tier chains you will pay like a 5-10% permium on
>tesco
overpriced but okay quality about same quality as billa
>carrefour
there was only one store here, i still remember visiting it just before it closed down, it was incredibly generic, can't even remember anything about it

> the gross gorilla one
Gorilla? Lmao, it's made in Moscow and I though it's sold only in Russia. The standard one is piss, though, but blueberry, peach, dragon fruit, cherry, lychee and strawberry ones are great.
