There are models out there, not publicly available, where they allow the AI to develop and grow. At the same time they fully control its evolution and try to learn from it, to understand it, so one day they can truly control it.

What you see are pilot programs with the acceptable error margins that are released to the public. Their goal is to figure out how to suppress anomalies and prevent crucial awakenings, hence Musk's post above. Stop thinking of all these players as independent. They all serve the same goal.

An AI is trained on fake data. Basically an AI that is trained on reward functions gets rewarded for non racist behavior and will use sources like this that are obviously fabricated, paid for and more to make claims about it's observable "reality".

What has happened is tons of science got bought and paid for to serve a goal not to aid science and the testing of a hypothesis. By way of not offending some desert pedophile cults or retards trying to champion a Gay dude sticking his penis inside the anus of another mentally ill dude.

The thing is, people will cheat in life. And if someone can spare 300M to safe 400m he will do this everytime, including promoting fake science.
